1000kV Ultra-high Voltage Transformer Smoothly Passed the Test
The 265MVA/1000kV ultra-high voltage (UHV) transformer produced by Changzhou Toshiba for Shengli Power Plant successfully passed all the test on August 7, and achieved the major goal of “passing the test directly”, which added new momentum to our company’s transformation and upgrading.
Shengli Power Plant applies the design of “integration of five towers with two generators in each tower” to carry out long-distance ultra-high voltage power transmission, and the voltage of outgoing line is 1000kV, creating great technological difficulties. Confronted with the daunting challenge, our company takes vigorous measures to optimize the parameters of technological equipment, review design plans, confirm testing plans and control the whole process quality. We organize multiple technology seminars to conduct in-depth discussion of insulation level, 1000kV outgoing line and other technological problems. We finally select a safe, reliable and advanced technological plan based on full integration of Toshiba’s ultra-high voltage transformer technology and the experience of successful R & D of dual million ultra-high voltage prototype.
During the process of R & D, various departments, including Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inspection, etc., start working in advance and actively prepare to carry out whole-process tracking and supervision of the design plans, production quality control and testing plans, etc. We emphasize the product quality and strictly implement standards to guarantee that the product passes the test smoothly.
