Coil-out Shielding and Reshaping Competition Carried out Successfully

The coil-out shielding and reshaping skill competition jointly organized by Quality Control Section, No.1 Manufacturing Section and Manufacturing Technology Department was held as scheduled on June 25. With their specific targeting, great skills and stable performance, the contestants left a deep impression on the audience and the judges presented. After disassembly of the shielding reshaping pieces one by one, the judges gave each piece a score. Jing Tao won the first place thanks to excellent skills and perfect appearance. Hua Chao and Zhang Yezhong won the second and third place respectively.

The purpose of this skill competition is to comprehensively examine technical level and actual operation ability of coil-out shielding and reshaping, to create a nice atmosphere of "competing, learning, catching up, helping and surpassing", and to continuously improve product quality level.

Starting from actual production, this competition simulated quality accident cases once happened, and requested contestants to produce according to drawings and specifications. Assessment is mainly based on drawings and standards, and appearance as well as operation efficiency shall also be taken into account. After theoretical knowledge training and learning of coil and coil assembly process, 19 employees of No.1 Manufacturing Section enrolled for this operation competition.

During this competition, contestants performed well, fully showing their own skills. However, certain weaknesses in actual work are also exposed. Organizer would summarize and classify these problems and deliver feedback to relevant departments to realize the goal for skill and quality improvement. The contestants shall fully recognize the importance of operating in accordance with drawings and standards, and shall also be clearly aware of their own weaknesses at the same time. They shall especially pay more attention to details, be more strict and standardized, and improve skills to ensure product quality and smooth progress of production.
