Company Convenes Production and Operation Target Conference for the Second Half of the Year
The company convenes production and operation target conference for the second half of the year on July 18. All the managerial staff and staff representatives from all the departments, with a total number of about 400, attended the conference. The conference called on all the staff to vigorously promote product quality to enhance production, to control cost to improve efficiency, and to forge ahead in unity to achieve the annual target.
During the conference, General Manager Taketa first summarized the production and operation achievements in the first half of the year, and provided analysis and reflection for existing problems and weaknesses. In the first half of this year, basic indicators such as production plan, sales revenues, newly increased orders and profits failed to reach the target of finishing half year's schedule within first half of this year, and switch products did not achieve comprehensive planned targets. But operating mechanism, CT and VT products basically fulfilled scheduled tasks. Though we are confronted with a great number of difficulties in the first half of the year, our company has still achieved remarkable results in special quality control as well as technology research and development. For example: Shanghai Sanlin transformer and Hulun Buir ultra short delivery term products met requirements of users. Achievements have been acquired in the research and development of converter transformer as well as ultra-large capacity (1230MVA) three-phase transformer, research on short circuit mechanical force and HVDC short circuit test (for the first time worldwide). Our company has hosted to compile Gas-insulated Transformer Service and Technical Specifications Standards of power industry for the first time. The continuous development of "Digitization CTC" has realized automatic drawing output and paperless office for part of our work, thus improving efficiency and reducing material consumption. We have made over RMB 20,000,000 in the field of CD. In addition, our company has carried out special activities such as "Top Leader on Safety Education", "Say Temporary Goodbye to Cars for Environmentally-friendly Going-out", etc. in terms of safety and environment protection, and has also achieved great outcome in terms of culture, life and social responsibility. In the reflection of the work in the first half of this year, We have focused on analyzing "impact of customer delivery date change on production schedule", "impact of quality problems", "impact of equipment condition" and consequences with cases, and have put forward improvement requirements.
According to business indicators issued by board of directors at the beginning of this year, General Manager Taketa put forward target tasks and work focuses of the second half of the year by taking enterprise practical situation into consideration, identified key indicators including output, sales revenues, total bid-winning amounts, profits, quality damage expenses, non safety accident, etc., and proposed focuses whose scheduled targets shall be fulfilled: 1. To comprehensively carry out “Great Quality Inspection” activity to guarantee product quality and improve production synchronous rate; 2. To carry out marketing activity participated by all the staff to strive for more orders; 3. To launch cost-reduction, efficiency-improvement and expenses-squeezing activity to realize profit maximization; 4. To achieve zero safety accident; 5. To create harmonious atmosphere to improve employees’ initiative.
In 2014, CTC has pursued improvement and good performance on the basis of stability. Although we are still facing certain problems, CTC, which forging ahead in unity, will definitely overcome the difficulties and accomplish the annual targets and tasks.
