Enhance Quality Management, Improve Product Quality Quality Inspection Launch Meeting Convened

2014 Quality Inspection Launch Meeting of our company was held on July 4. Section chiefs and other cadres above of the company all attended. Company leaders Zhu Duo, Zhou Hongxing and chief engineer Xu Bo made instructions on the inspection activities and put forward requirements.

To implement group company’s arrangements on "Suggestions on enhancing the strategy of cost-cutting and efficiency improvement to develop performance of the enterprise", as well as to carry out the spirit of 2014 Group Company Safety Production and Quality Management Working Conference, our company has regarded maximum economic performance as the orientation of our work, and strengthened quality management and control to improve product quality level. Taking practical situation into account, our company has organized this event.

The meeting was presided over by Yan Yan, director of Quality Assurance Department. Chief of Quality Control Section Pan Qingjie introduced event planning. This quality inspection is divided into three stages: initiation and self-inspection; rectification and improvement; summary and appraisal. Great importance shall be attached to screening of potential quality hazard, inspection of fundamental product quality management, product process control, product quality problem handling and other quality control and management issues. All the departments shall conduct self-inspection and self-rectification. Quality control loopholes, common quality defects, potential quality hazards, business operation, working site, key controlling units shall all be inspected. We shall take effective measures to prevent quality problems from happening, thus improving quality awareness of the personnel, and forming the quality-oriented and quality conscious atmosphere, which will improve quality of transformer products.

During the meeting, General Manager Zhu Duo made specific guidance on the works which shall be conducted in different stages of the event. He hoped that everyone shall carry forward the working style of perseverance, thoroughly inspect reasons causing quality problems, and strictly enforce quality system to fulfill goals of the event. Executive Deputy General Manager and Party Secretary Zhou Hongxing proposed requirements for this event in his speech: 1. We shall unify our minds and correctly recognize the meaning of this event; 2. We shall treat both symptoms and root causes, start from our own work, and thoroughly rectify our own weaknesses; 3. We shall combine the accomplishment of annual target tasks issued by the board of directors and implementation of this event together; 4. We shall enhance assessment of the event, especially assessment on participation effect improvement of cadres at various levels. Chief engineer Xu Bo pointed out that we shall participate in the event with a positive attitude, and reflect deficiency in our work through this event to enhance the quality standard and promote the event with our concerted effort. Chief of Design Section (of Technology Department) He Yepeng delivered a speech on behalf of technicians, and chief of No.1 Manufacturing Section (of Manufacturing Department) Fan Lingjie delivered a speech on behalf of manufacturing personnel to demonstrate their attitude.
