The Company Held a Supplier Forum

On February 28, the company held The Excellent Supplier Forum & Commendation Meeting. Thirteen praiseful suppliers and outsourcing bodies totally gathered together. While looking back to the past and looking forward to the future, we discussed a development plan to seek a prosperous future where the resources can be shared, advantages can be complementary, mutual benefit & win-win can be achieved between both parties.

The forum was hosted by executive deputy general manager ZHOU Hongxing. Firstly, he expressed his warm welcome to all the suppliers and extended his greatful thanks for their vigorous support to Changzhou Toshiba in the past year. Then he pointed out that, after nearly two years' low tide, the production, business and sale in 2013 tended to recover, and a large number of new orders brought new development opportunities to the company. In 2014, our yield has grown substantially, but market competition especially price competition is still very fierce. We are a fate community, so we hope that the suppliers could grant us the most favorable price, a better quality and a security lead time.

The general manager Mr Zhuduo also delivered a speech in the forum. He looked back to the development situation in 2013 and pointed out that, under the vigorous support of suppliers and striving contribution of the whole company, outstanding achievements were made on operation, management, new orders, product quality and other aspects under increasingly fierce competition. While steadily exploiting national market, the business on foreign market was booming. The gas transformer and products of short lead time not only created large benefits to the company, but also fully demonstrated the technical and production capacity of Changzhou Toshiba. The yield in 2014 will greatly exceed the one in 2013 , which needs the vigorous support of suppliers. We hope that you can develop and make progress together with us. In addition, he underlined that, the product quality of suppliers shall be controlled strictly and lead time shall be assured.

The general manager presented the medals to 13 excellent and praiseful suppliers. In the forum, the suppliers extended their thanks for the long-term cooperation with Changzhou Toshiba and hoped that the cooperation can be closer to seek win-win situation and common development. Responsible officers in charge of material supply department, quality management department and oil tank division stated the supply condition and quality of raw materials and outsourced parts, and they hoped that the suppliers can take more positive actions on the price, lead time and quality of procured and outsourced parts, so that our production demand can be met in conformity with relevant requirements and standards of  our company.
